What is a video essay?

In simple words, they are essays in video form. Like any other written essay, they analyse a topic, person, thesis etc. using visuals and narrative .

I watched various Visual essays talking about topics related to what I intend on making my visual essay.
Comparing them to the type of visual essays I know of, I believe they were all Expository in nature. There were visuals relating to what was being said and the commentary was the most important part.
I think watching these visual essays helped me understand their structure, and how editors organise their information for it to be easily understandable and have a proper flow. As I watched some short and longer visual essays, I also learnt how much I could elaborate on each topic based on how long the video is.

-Extract a keyword from each paragraph and attach a video clip related to the keyword
